Meet Our New Starter - Crystal Thomas

We're pleased to welcome Crystal Thomas, Remortgage Paralegal, to our Cardiff office.

Crystal has worked in Conveyancing for three years in the Remortgage sector.

This week we caught up with Crystal, learning more about her personal life, work goals and passions. Read on to learn more about Crystal and her new role at Sort Legal.

What is your new role at Sort Legal?

Remortgage Paralegal.

What attracted you to Sort Legal?

I wanted a change, and I knew colleagues already working at Sort Legal. They had suggested I join them.

What's it like working in our Cardiff office?

The Cardiff office is lovely and relaxed. Everyone is friendly; it's such a great work environment.

Tell us about your previous experience; what did you do before?

I have worked in Conveyancing for three years in the Remortgage sector.

What advice would you give someone looking to start a career in Conveyancing?

Please do it! Every day is always so different.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

New York – it has the best Pizza.

Describe your perfect day off?

I would start my day with a lie-in. I would follow this by spending time with my partner; perhaps we'd have a nice meal. I'd also clean my house. I'm obsessed with cleaning!

Finally, I'd spend the evening playing on my PlayStation.

Tell us something few people know about you?

I'm getting married next year in Mexico, and my married name will officially be Crystal Ball.

What is your favourite movie of all time?

Anything Marvel!

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

Time travel. It would allow you to re-live the good times and see those you've lost as much as you wanted.

Who inspires you?

My partner. He's why I am the person I am today and continues encouraging me.

Tell us two things you're passionate about?

Gaming and Cats!
