Meet our New Starter - Faisal Rana Lingkon

Towards the end of last year, we welcomed a new starter, Faisal Rana Lingkon. He joined us during a busy period and has taken on the role brilliantly!
This week we caught up with Faisal to see how his first few months at Sort Legal have been. He's shared some fascinating facts about himself and his reasons for joining the team.
How have you found your first few months at Sort Legal?
The New Business team has been very welcoming and helpful. As for training, it has been straight forward and simple. I've worked here for a few months now and find the environment very friendly.
What attracted you to Sort Legal?
My first experience of Sort Legal was through Keith Ahmed, he was my interviewer and was very welcoming. He made sure that the interview was more of a conversation than an interrogation.
How did you hear about Sort Legal?
I heard about Sort Legal from LinkedIn.
Why did you choose a career in Conveyancing?
As a law graduate, I was still looking for my calling. Conveyancing is a great way to get involved with the legal system.
Who inspires you?
My father and all that he has achieved.
If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?
The ability to heal people. Many people suffer from traumas which are not visible, it would be nice to have the power to know and heal them.
What is your all-time favourite movie?
Gladiator (2000).
Tell us something few people know about you?
I can be very sociable but sometimes find it difficult to make the first contact.
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Zurich, Switzerland.
What advice would you give something just starting their career in conveyancing?
The first weeks may seem like an information overload, but rest assured that you will have help every single step of the way and it gets easier.
