We're pleased to announce we have a new Conveyancer, Sarah Wingrove.
Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in Conveyancing; she worked in law since she was 16!
This week we caught up with Sarah and completed our Sort Legal Q&A. Sarah has two children, 29 and 27 and has recently become a Nana. We love getting to know ours knew starters on a personal level.
Please read our new starter Q&A below!
That is the title of your new role?
Conveyancer.
What did you do before joining Sort Legal?
I have worked in law in all fields since leaving school many years ago, which ultimately led me to Conveyancing and qualifying as a Conveyancer IN 2004.
What are you most looking forward to?
I am looking forward to working in a new environment with different colleagues and ultimately helping clients move into their perfect homes.
Have you always wanted a career in Conveyancing?
I don't think anyone sets out for a career in Conveyancing. It seems to me that Conveyancing finds suitable people for the role. Having done other areas of law throughout my working life, Conveyancing is my "fit."
What attracted you to Sort Legal?
I think that Sort Legal is looking to be a progressive law firm. I am looking to achieve satisfaction in Conveyancing for both clients and professionals.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
Not many people know that I once competed in Latin Ballroom competitions, before the days of strictly come dancing!!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, including my 11-month-old grandson. I also enjoy reading and painting when I have the opportunity.
Who is your inspiration in life?
I wouldn't say I specifically have one inspirational person in my life. I am inspired by people who survive adversity and achieve their goals.
Describe your perfect day off?
My perfect day off would be spent relaxing by the sea at the coast with family.
What's your favourite movie and why?
That is tough as I have many films that I enjoy and watch time and again. I would probably say that Shawshank Redemption has to be at the top. The message is that good people are always seen, even if it doesn't appear that way, and truth always wins.
