A big welcome to Ria Parsons, who is our new Conveyancing Assistant in Cardiff. After joining us in June, she has now settled in and we took some time to get to know her better...
How have you found it at Sort Legal so far?
I’ve really enjoyed my first couple of weeks. The supportive and friendly atmosphere has facilitated the ability to learn a lot in a short amount of time.
What made you want to join our Sort Legal team?
During the interview process, the team at Sort Legal provided a clear vision of what a career could entail, aligning perfectly with my desired next steps. The emphasis on opportunities for learning and growth played a significant role in my decision to join.
What did you do before joining Sort Legal?
I worked as a Legal Assistant at Eversheds Sutherland.
Tell us something a few people know about you?
I played many musical instruments at school, but my biggest musical achievement was Grade 8 on the Clarinet.
Describe your dream home.
My dream home would blend contemporary design with traditional rustic charm. It would be in the countryside, with large windows flooding the house with natural light and spacious enough to accommodate a big family and a couple of dogs.
Which actor/actress would you want to play ‘you’ in your autobiography movie?
I think Sandra Bullock would successfully charm the audience with her wit and humour to persuade them the film is worth watching.
How would your friends and family describe you in 3 words?
Approachable, thoughtful and fun.
What was your favourite subject in school and why?
Whilst I enjoyed Philosophy and Theology, specifically the ethics aspect, as the topics felt current and applicable to daily life, my Fine Art class provided a refreshing break from the constant essay writing!
What do you think you can bring to Sort Legal?
I believe I can bring a motivated and adaptable attitude to Sort Legal. I am eager to learn and improve my conveyancing abilities.
What would you say to someone looking to start a career in Conveyancing?
