Meet our new starter, Holly. She joined us in August and has now settled into our Cardiff office, so we've spent some time learning more about her...
How have you found it at Sort Legal so far?
So far it has been amazing. It is definitely different to every firm I have worked in before. There is so much support from management, the systems are up-to-date, and my colleagues have been so friendly.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I think I am most looking forward to building a relationship with my clients and referrals.
What did you do before joining Sort Legal?
Before joining Sort Legal I had just completed my training contract with another high-street law firm and qualified as a solicitor.
Tell us something a few people know about you...
I own a one-year-old and 6-month-old springer spaniel called Max. He’s an absolute angel and is a sucker for belly rubs and dressing up in different costumes (a pumpkin last year for Halloween and a ghost this year too!).
What is your favourite song of all time and why?
"Since You Been Gone" – Kelly Clarkson is 100% the best song of all time. She’s an absolute powerhouse of a woman and could be classed as my ultimate childhood song.
How would your friends and family describe you?
I think they would say that I am quite down-to-earth and approachable. I’m a good listener and can empathise quite easily with other people.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Italy! It is absolutely the most beautiful place I have ever been to. The culture, art and food. I could sit by the Colosseum with a slice of pizza and a cocktail and never be bored.
What would you say to someone looking to start a career in Conveyancing?
I would say that it can definitely be challenging at times but that there isn’t another area of law quite as structured, or as entertaining!
