We're delighted to introduce our new Team Leader, Victoria Wilson, who is working in our Teesside office for our Remortgage department.
Victoria has an extensive wealth of knowledge working in law firms and we're excited to have her on board.
Get to know Victoria more like we did when we asked her a series of questions...
How have you found it at Sort Legal so far?
I have found Sort Legal very friendly working environment, and my colleagues are supportive and eager to help each other.
What made you want to join our Sort Legal team?
After having worked remotely, I felt it was the time to join a local law firm. Sort Legal were opening a Teesside Branch and I felt this was the perfect opportunity to join an expanding firm.
What did you do before joining Sort Legal?
I have worked within Conveyancing for over 20 years in a variety of roles. Before joining Sort Legal, I worked within a Remortgage Department for a law firm but working fully remote.
Tell us something a few people know about you?
I have a qualification in Counselling, raised money for Mental Health Charities and volunteered with a charity to provide emotional support to people in distress.
What would your perfect day off look like?
Having a sleep in, taking my black labrador for a walk, and meeting up with family and/or friends for food, drinks and a comedy or music gig.
What did you want to be when you were young?
I wanted to be a dancer, having danced from the age of 4yr old.
If you could speak another language, what would it be and why?
It would be Spanish, I have extended Spanish family.
A genie grants you one wish, what do you wish for?
For all my family and friends to be healthy and happy.
What do you think you can bring to Sort Legal?
Willingness to share knowledge and learn from my colleagues, lots of enthusiasm, dedication and strong work ethic.
What would you say to someone looking to start a career in Conveyancing?
Starting a career in Conveyancing can be both exciting and challenging. You would need attention to detail, good communication skills, good organisational skills and stay updated on property laws and training.
