Meet Daniel Warrener, our new Receptionist

We're excited to introduce Daniel Warrener, our new receptionist based in South Shields!

As the first point of contact when reaching the Sort Legal office, Daniel is already making a great impression. Whether he's welcoming clients, transferring calls, or supporting the wider team, he's quickly become a valued member at Sort Legal.

When off the phone, you'll either find Daniel binge-watching his favourite Netflix show or jumping off waterfalls... there's no in between.

How have you found it at Sort Group so far?

I have found it very well. The team is easy to get along with, training was great, and if I need help, I always have support.

What made you want to join our Sort Group team? 

The nature of the job. I am a very social person who likes to communicate with new people.

Tell us a bit about your role within the company…

I am a receptionist. I transfer a lot of the calls to case handlers, and I have a bit of knowledge of the new business aspect. I also look after any visitors coming into the building.

What did you do before joining Sort Group?

I worked in admin for a care company.

Outside of work, how do you like to spend your time?

It varies. One day, I could be binge-watching a Netflix show, the next, I find myself in a situation like jumping off waterfalls.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or interests outside of work?

I do a lot of bouldering (similar to rock climbing).

If you could invent one thing, what would it be?

Probably zero-calorie snacks, I love my food.

What is your favourite film/TV show?

Breaking Bad.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

To travel to every continent.
