Meet Our New Starter - Nailah Sharif

We're pleased to announce that we've had a new graduate, Nailah Sharif, join the Sort Legal team.
Nailah has joined the Derby team and hopes to build a successful Conveyancing career. This week we caught up with Nailah to see how her first week has been at Sort Legal. She expressed her excitement to us, and we are thrilled to see her career take off and provide additional training and support along the way. Read below our insightful Q&A and get to know Nailah Sharif.
What attracted you to Sort Legal?
I liked that Sort Legal is willing to give graduates a fair opportunity to start their legal career, as this is not something many firms offer.
What did you do previously?
I previously worked in debt management, helping clients with a debt management plan.
Tell us something few people know about you.
I started an online business selling cupcakes and other baked goods during lockdown.
What or who inspired your career in Conveyancing?
It was an area which I enjoyed learning about during my undergraduate degree.
How would you spend your day off work if money was no object?
I would probably do weekend breaks to different places around UK and Europe.
What do you feel you bring to Sort Legal?
A positive attitude and willingness to learn as much as possible.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to progress within Sort Legal and my legal career. I also want to travel more as it's not something I have yet had the opportunity to do.
Tell us about your hobbies. What do you like to do outside of work?
I like to go to the gym where I have free time, which motivates me to stay active. I also want to spend my weekends catching up with my friends.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am getting to know my new colleagues and seeing how I progress within the company. I will gain a lot of experience and knowledge at Sort Legal.
