Introducing Warren Powell, Remortgage Paralegal!

Warren has now joined the Sort Legal team. This week we spent some time with Warren getting to know him. We discussed his work history, property selling experience and more. Read on to discover why Warren chose to join Sort Legal and how he hopes to develop his conveyancing career.

What is your new job title at Sort Legal?

My new job title is Re-Mortgage Paralegal. I'm currently in training.

What did you do before joining Sort Legal?

I came from a completely different industry; I worked in the construction industry for many years, helping build houses, hospitals, schools, football stadiums etc.

What's your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Just to put my feet up and watch a good movie or series on the TV.

What attracted you to Sort Legal?

I had heard great things from a close friend about the excellent working environment and the friendly people.

Tell us about your hobbies; what do you like to do outside of work?

I regularly go to the gym. I also do boxing training and attend the football matches of my favourite football team.

What do you feel you can bring to the team?

A good work ethic, a calm approach, and a willingness to help and learn.

What made you want to start a career in Conveyancing?

I've wanted a career change for a long time; I've been buying, renovating, and selling properties for several years; I also have friends in the industry who suggested I should give it a try.

What's your guilty pleasure?

McDonalds, I know its rubbish, yet I still find myself there way too often.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Sort Legal?

Becoming a valued asset to the team.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be and why?

It would have to be time travel, so I could go back in time and hopefully prevent tragedies in the world that have already happened.
