Off the back of our recent Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers award win, we’re delighted to announce we’ve made it to the finalist stage at the Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Apprenticeship Awards for two categories:
· SME Employer of the Year
· Mentor of the Year (Janet Quinlan-Jones)
As mentioned previously, the Conveyancing industry has seen a huge recruitment challenge since COVID in 2020, which has led to a large number of people leave the industry, which led to us exploring the Apprenticeship route. These awards reflect and celebrates the hard work and investment we have put into our recruitment, growth and development strategy over the past 12-18 months and the staff employed through this recruitment drive are already having a huge impact on the business.
Keith Ahmed, Group Managing Director commented: “Firstly, a big congratulations to Janet for making it to finalist stage as Mentor of the Year. You have done an outstanding job developing and supporting all of our apprentices. Secondly, the SME Employer award is also a testament to the hard work we have done as a group and making Sort Legal a great place to work.”
The Awards scheme is run by National World Events across the counties of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire and provides fourteen different categories to recognise companies and individuals who provide Apprenticeships.
We’ll find out if we’ve been successful in these categories at the Awards Ceremony, which is being held at the Village Hotel Nottingham on Thursday, 9th October.
